Fabiola Benavente is an international communications, leadership and community building professional with over 15 years of experience in the profit and non-profit world.
Originally from Chiapas, Mexico, she has worked extensively in multicultural, cross-functional and virtual teams and is a deeply human facilitator, trainer and mentor with a special focus on authentic leadership as a path to transformation.
She brings into this journey insight from her experience as former board member at Initiatives of Change International, and from the Gandhi Voyage with Prof. Rajmohan Gandhi, through Asia, Africa, Europe and the Americas.
Her work has included empowering diverse leaders to make a positive impact, as Director of Leadership Development at Fundacion Ethos in Mexico, and through creative workshops on Authentic Leadership.
Additionally, she has worked as Marketing Specialist for Intel and as Marketing Coordinator for the former For A Change Magazine. She has organized International Caux Conferences and founded the community ChangemakersForward.
Fabiola holds a BSc in International Marketing with a Minor in Psychology from the University of Monterrey. She has trained in the Art of Hosting Participatory Leadership (Belgium), the Heart of Effective Leadership (Switzerland), the European Shine Leadership Development Program for Senior Managers (Belgium), and is a Caux Scholar on Conflict Resolution (Switzerland).
Fabiola has a son and lives with her Belgian husband in Flanders
