Kick off of the WISE network with Prof. Pattie Maes, associate professor in MIT's Program in Media Arts and Sciences and honored by the World Economic Forum with the title "Global Leader for Tomorrow.
She founded and directs the Media Lab's Fluid Interfaces group which focuses on designing novel interfaces for making digital information more seamlessly accessible and more integrated in our physical surroundings. She is a regular keynote speaker at conferences such as TED.
